The treatment has no downtime associated with it which means that immediately after undergoing treatment, you can go about your daily routine without any form of disruption. What to expect throughout the treatment
On the day of your BioRePeel, your skincare expert will discuss any concerns you have pior to treatment.
To prepare the skin we use C-Med Universal Contouring Kit. The preparation prior to your BioRePeel has 4 main benefits; Micro-dermo abrasion, degrease, pre-peeling & Antioxidant.
Step 1 - A double cleanse using the C-Med 4ever LipoGel Cleanser - this will thoroughly remove all traces of oil, dirt, debris and make-up prior to the BioRePeel.
Step 2 - Application of a thin layer of charcoal salicylic mask, left on for 5 minutes.
Step 3 - Application of the the BioRePeel solution to your skin using a special brush or applicator. The solution contains a unique blend of bio-stimulating, revitalizing, and peeling substances, including several acids (like trichloroacetic, citric, and salicylic), amino acids, and vitamins. This will be left on the skin for 3-5 minutes depending on your skin type and conditions. The result is a virtuous circle of exfoliation, hydration, and collagen production. You may feel some mild tingling during this stage.
Step 4 - After the removal of the BioRePeel, your skincare expert will apply 2 products - a post treatment serum & post treatment moisturizer. The 2 products combine have 35 active ingredients designed to keep your skin hydrated.
Step 5 - Application of SPF broad spectrum moisturizer. This will prime your skin ready to continue your day.
Post Treatment Advice
Following the right aftercare procedure can help enhance the results of your BioRePeel treatment and minimise potential side effects. Here are some post-treatment instructions to follow.
Avoid direct sun exposure
Although there is no photosensitivity with the BioRePeel we do recommend that you shield your skin from direct sunlight for several days. Consider it a crucial part of the recovery process, as if you’re offering your skin a much-needed respite. Use a broad-spectrum sunscreen with a Sun Protection Factor (SPF) of no less than 30. We recommend the purchase of the BioReHydra to help keep you moisturised.
Stay Hydrated
This helps with your skins recover process.
What to avoid
Avoid any products that contain active ingredients. This includes ingredients such as Retinol, Salicylic Acid & Glycolic Acid.
No picking
You may experience some light flaking of the dead skin cells. Please DO NOT pick or scratch this skin off. Allow the natural process of shedding
Sleep
There's no doubt that following a well-balanced diet and getting the appropriate amount of sleep will help contribute to your skins luminosity so rest up and eat well.
